    Lemongrass Hydrosol is the steam distillate from the fresh leaves of Cymbopogon Citratus (Lemon grass). Lemongrass has great cleansing properties; helps tighten the pores, wonderful cooling tonic.

    Peppermint Hydrosol is the steam distillate from the fresh leaves of Mentha piperita. Peppermint hydrosol has been known to revitalizing, refreshing and calming.

    Refreshing

    I love to use plant based products whenever I can. This hydrosol toner is very refreshing and does an excellent job of leaving my face feeling clean without over drying and stripping. It does have a strong vinegar smell to it, but it dissipates fairly quickly and the smell doesn't linger around at all. I can't detect much of the peppermint smell, but I do notice the lemongrass. The directions say to store it in the refrigerator which is a bit inconvenient to me. My bathroom is upstairs while the refrigerator is downstairs. I started keeping a few cotton balls downstairs in the half bath so I can use it near the kitchen. The Hello Cider products are great quality products and are gentle enough for my somewhat sensitive skin.

    Very invigorating!

    I LOVE every single hello cider product that I have ever used! This Lemongrass and Peppermint toner is another one that I love! Be sure you shake the bottle and store it in the refrigerator as the container recommends. Then you get this cool, refreshing mist that you can just spray on your face! I can smell Lemongrass more than the peppermint, which is a good thing because I think the peppermint would sting my face. I have very sensitive skin and this toner does not irritate or dry my skin out at all! I do love the smell of vinegar so the Organic Apple Cider Vinegar does not bother me at all. I can not wait to use this product in the summer time once I have some sun on my face! I know it will be amazing! Since this toner stays fresh for 6 months it will give me ample time to get that sun on my face and then spray this amazingly, cool, refreshing toner!

    Yet again hello cider has amazed me with an all natural product that does not irritate my skin one bit!

    Very refreshing and pleasant smell

    This hydrosol is a very refreshing spray of happiness that I mist my face with a couple times per day. The smell is very pleasant and definitely smells like lemongrass more than peppermint. The vinegar smell is very faint and does not disrupt the pleasant smell of lemongrass and peppermint. It feels very refreshing on the face. It is also very safe, and it doesn't cause the sting that I have experienced with some peppermint products.

    The bottle has a nice spray nozzle that creates a mist spray rather than a stream of spritz. I really don't do much more than spray it a couple of times in my face when I apply it.

    Overall, I really like this product and I recommend it highly.
